A pre-purchase RV inspection is a detailed, unbiased assessment of a used RV, travel trailer, or fifth wheel before you buy. An OEM trained technician tests every major system — roof, plumbing, propane, appliances, electrical, chassis — and delivers a written report so you know exactly what you're buying.
How long does an RV inspection take?
Most pre-purchase inspections take 3–6 hours on-site depending on the size and complexity of the rig. Your written report is delivered within 24–48 hours.
Do you travel to the seller or dealership?
Yes. We're a fully mobile inspection service across Ontario. We meet you at the seller's home, dealership, or storage lot so the RV never has to move.
Can you inspect a travel trailer or fifth wheel?
Absolutely. We inspect motorhomes (Class A, B, C), travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and pop-ups.
Do I need to be there for the inspection?
No. Many buyers are shopping out-of-town. We handle the entire visit, photograph everything we find, and walk you through the written report by phone before you commit.
How much does a pre-purchase RV inspection cost?
Pricing depends on the size and type of rig — a small travel trailer is less involved than a 40-foot diesel pusher. We quote a flat rate up front before booking, and it's typically a fraction of what a single hidden roof or floor repair would cost you.
What happens if the inspection finds problems?
You get a photo-documented report with every finding rated by severity. Most buyers use it one of two ways: walk away from a rig with structural or water issues, or take the report back to the seller and renegotiate the price to cover the repairs.
Can you inspect an RV I'm buying from a private seller?
Yes — private-sale inspections are a large part of what we do, and they're where a report matters most since there's no dealer warranty behind the purchase. We just need the seller's permission and access for a few hours.
